Inkana Support
Support provider: Inimasolution
Inkana is a writing-first Japanese learning app for kana, words, grammar, and sentences. If something is not working, check the information below first.
Before Contacting Support
- Kana, word, grammar, and sentence exercises work offline after the app is installed.
- Handwriting recognition and local learning history work on your iPhone.
- Sign in with Apple, purchase restoration, account sync, and optional handwriting-data sharing need an internet connection.
- You can reset local learning history in Settings or by deleting the app.
Handwriting Recognition Seems Wrong
Handwriting scoring is a learning aid. Results may vary depending on character size, stroke position, and device input conditions. You can continue practicing by checking the answer and writing the character again.
Progress Is Missing on a New Device
Sign in with the same Apple account in Inkana, then allow the app a moment to restore your saved progress and settings. Progress is stored only on the device when you do not sign in.
Purchase or Subscription Access Is Missing
Open Settings and choose Restore Purchase while signed in to the same App Store account used for the purchase. Your App Store account controls subscription entitlement.
Does the App Need Internet Access?
No for ordinary study: learning content, writing practice, recognition, quizzes, and local progress work on device. An internet connection is used for optional Sign in with Apple sync, purchase restoration, and handwriting-data sharing when you enable it.
